SMS Messaging Policy

ShiftSave LLC ("ShiftSave," "we," "our") uses SMS messaging to notify restaurant staff of urgent guest feedback that requires immediate attention.

Who Receives SMS Messages

  • SMS messages are sent only to a phone number designated by a restaurant for its staff or manager who is responsible for responding to guest issues.
  • Phone numbers are provided and managed by the restaurant through the ShiftSave dashboard.

When SMS Messages Are Sent

Messages are sent only for high-severity (red) guest feedback.

Messages are strictly operational in nature and are not marketing, promotional, or advertising.

Message Content

SMS messages may include:

  • Table number
  • Issue category (e.g., service, food, wait time)
  • A short guest comment (if provided)
  • A suggested action for staff

Consent

During setup in the ShiftSave dashboard, the restaurant administrator enters the recipient's phone number and must check a required consent checkbox confirming that the recipient has explicitly agreed to receive these operational SMS Alerts before SMS can be enabled. Restaurants are responsible for ensuring that designated recipients have provided appropriate consent to receive SMS Alerts.

Opt-Out

Recipients may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Once opted out, no further SMS messages will be sent unless the recipient re-subscribes by replying START or YES.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on guest activity and restaurant volume.
