ShiftSave LLC ("ShiftSave," "we," "our") uses SMS messaging to notify restaurant staff of guest feedback that needs attention during service, and to let designated recipients join, take over, or check who is on duty.
Guest-alert messages are sent for high-severity (red) guest feedback, and for moderate (yellow) feedback when the guest asks to be seen during the visit.
Recipients may also receive operational messages when they text JOIN, ON, STATUS, HELP, or STOP, or when another teammate takes over alerts. Messages are strictly operational and are not marketing, promotional, or advertising.
Guest-alert messages may include:
Guest-alert messages do not include a suggested script, tag suggestions, or the guest's phone number. If the guest left a callback number, staff can see it on the private note page.
During setup in the ShiftSave dashboard, the restaurant administrator enters the recipient's phone number and must check a required consent checkbox confirming that the recipient has explicitly agreed to receive these operational SMS Alerts before SMS can be enabled. Restaurants are responsible for ensuring that designated recipients have provided appropriate consent to receive SMS Alerts.
Recipients may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.
Once opted out, no further SMS messages will be sent unless the recipient re-subscribes by replying START, then ON if they are taking over alerts.
Guest-alert texts do not append STOP or HELP on every message. Recipients can still reply STOP or HELP at any time. First-time setup is JOIN; taking over a shift is ON; STATUS shows who is currently receiving alerts.
Recipients may reply HELP for assistance or contact support@shiftsave.co.
Message frequency varies based on guest activity and restaurant volume.
Message and data rates may apply.
