From restaurant users (managers, owners)

  • Email address (for authentication)
  • Phone number (optional, for SMS alerts)
  • Restaurant information (name, table count, timezone)

From guests

  • Feedback ratings and optional comments
  • Table number and submission timestamp

We do not collect guest names, phone numbers, or emails

How We Use Information

  • To provide real-time feedback and alerts to restaurants
  • To authenticate users and secure access
  • To send SMS alerts only when enabled by the restaurant
  • To improve product performance and reliability

SMS Communications

  • SMS messages are sent only to restaurant staff
  • Messages are triggered only by negative (red) feedback, when enabled
  • Guests never receive SMS messages from ShiftSave

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties except:

  • Infrastructure providers (e.g., SMS delivery, hosting) strictly to operate the service
  • When required by law

Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices, including:

  • Encrypted connections
  • Server-side access controls
  • Strict tenant isolation

Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
